American Horse in Meijer's Gardens in Grand Rapids

“The American Horse” — a 24-foot bronze statue inspired by a design that Leonardo da Vinci began work on in 1482 but didn’t live to see completed — was unveiled Oct. 7, 1999, at the Frederick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids.
