The Lansing Drive-in made its debut on Saturday, May 29, 1948 at 5509 S. Cedar St., a mile south of the city. Tickets cost 60 cents for adults, and children under 12 were admitted free. A Lansing State Journal advertisement said you could come dressed as you like. The drive-in closed in 1982.
